Seaman and navigator, boat lover, fisherman, skipper, Denis Horeau organized the first edition of the Vendée Globe in 1989. He then directed several major international races, including the Solitaire du Figaro, before returning to his first love: he is the race director of the Vendée Globe from 2004 to 2016.

Today, it is dedicated to defending the environment by producing, in particular, international events that highlight human creativity and intelligence in the service of concrete solutions to reduce our impact on the planet.
